The 2017 Lake Erie cyclone season was a near-normal cyclone season, with 13 depressions forming, 12 which became storms, and 3 which became major hurricanes. The three major hurricanes were Hurricane Celia, Hurricane Gabrianna and Hurricane Loranne. The first storm, Ashlee, formed on January 28. The last storm, Maxine, dissipated on December 1.
