The Alderaan Dance Company was a popular dance company that gave performances throughout most of the galaxy over a thousand-year period. It specialized in showcasing traditional dance styles from different cultures. It was established shortly after the Ruusan Reformation, and peaked in the 3rd Century BBY. They survived the Clone Wars, albeit with their numbers and operations considerably reduced. However, the company president and leading officials were killed in the destruction of Alderaan in 0 BBY and while most of the dancers were offworld and survived, the group disbanded as most of its members struggled to put their lives back together. In 20 ABY, however, some of the surviving veterans regrouped to form the New Alderaan Dance Company.
