[Source] Pol pollen was an addictive stimulant that could be purchased in a tube form, and was inhaled through the nose. The Rodian bounty hunter Slyder was addicted to pol pollen, and ended up devoting more and more of his income to his addiction as he lived on the luxury cruise ship Star of Empire. Slyder believed that the drug gave him a heightened ability to reason. Whenever he believed that he had a moment of brilliance, he would reward himself with a dose of the pollen.
