Agent Winfield was one of two DoJ Witness Protection Agents assigned to guard the hospital room of Jimmy Moran as "A Death in the Family" came to a head. Along with his partner, Agent Adler, he screened everyone looking to enter the room, and was the one who let "Maggie Dowd" in, when she tried to poison "The Rat".
