Delta Flight is a private military unit working under Xaos. It consists of six VF-31 Siegfried units, each with their corresponding aircrews and ground staff. They are part of the Third Fighter Wing of Xaos, Ragna, and serve aboard the SDF/C-108 Macross Elysion, a vessel under the command of Captain Ernest Johnson. The unit is led by Arad Mölders and his second-in-command is Lt. Messer Ihlefeld. Other members include 2nd Lt. Mirage Farina Jenius, Chuck Mustang, and Hayate Immelman. The primary function of the unit is to provide protection for the tactical sound unit Walküre.
