The SV guitar models are based on the S series models, but have a synchronized tremolo bridge rather than the double locking systems found on the regular S models. The SV5470F features a mahogany body with flamed maple top with binding and Ibanez pickups with a True Duo coil-split system. In 2009, a new middle position pickup was introduced. New in 2010 was the Wizard HP neck. Since 2012 the SV5470F has been offered only in Japan. It was discontinued in 2016.
