Barbarians start out with basic Combat, Melee, and Magic Resistance, and they're the only hero to start out with three skills, rather than two. The Barbarian is most likely to learn Combat, and fairly likely to learn Scouting. Barbarians cannot learn any magic skills when leveling up unless some basic training in those skills is already known.
