The Honolulu Harlequins came into the EHL in the 1st major expansion after the great merger ( see EHL Timeline ). Since their beginnings the relevance of hockey in the middle of the pacific ocean has been questionned. Despite the fact that they haven't yet won any titles and only 3 playoff runs, the Harlequins remain a very popular team. They are said to have one of the most entertaining intermission shows in the league.
