Aidan Connor is a distant cousin of Michelle Connor, brother of Kate Connor and half-brother of Carla Connor. Aidan arrived in Weatherfield during August 2015 at the request of Nick Tilsley to help Carla out at Underworld after she was going through financial difficulties as a result of her reckless gambling. Aidan bought a 40% of the business and later moved into the Rovers with Michelle and her husband Steve McDonald. In September Aidan received messages from his father, Johnny Connor, telling him he knew what he had done. While in the factory with Carla, Johnny and Kate Connor, burst into the room and demanded to have his money back. Carla then realised that the money Aidan had used to buy the factory was in fact stolen from Johnny.
