The Battle of Ylesia was a battle on the planet of Ylesia in Hutt Space, and the very first engagement in the Outer Rim Sieges. Part of a joint operation with the 501st Battalion codenamed 'Operation Colossus', the battle was one of the last major engagements for the 44th SFD in the Clone Wars, and was one of the deciding battles of the conflict against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
