Features of the GS270 include a poplar body with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays, Ibanez Infinity pickups in an HSH configuration and a synchronized tremolo bridge. Unlike the standard S models which have the output jack angled out from the face of the top, the jack on this model is on the side of the body. The GS370DX which followed in 2016 is similar but has a double locking tremolo and sharktooth inlays.
