Loxos appear as large humanoid elephants with two trunks and bluish-gray skin. They roam the Shaar in hunter-gatherer groups. Peaceful in nature, Loxos prefer to be left alone and have little contact with other sentient races. They often worship the giant deity Hiatea. Loxos first appeared in Faerûn in the 12th century DR, possibly arriving from another world.
