The Big Creek Manufacturing and Sales Co. was a business located in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the mid-20th century. In 1957, the Vulcan T'Mir sold to this company the rights to a new kind of hook-and-loop fasteners that would later be known as Velcro. She used the proceeds to help pay for Jack 's education after hearing his mother Maggie bemoan her inability to do so alone. (ENT: "Carbon Creek")
