When an item (or stack of items) is dipped in any potion of raw chaos or a blessed potion of exchange, it can be transformed into another item(s) of the same type, with the specific result depending on the item danger level of the current level. Up to 19s worth of stacked items may be dipped into one potion. Items weighing over 10s may only be dipped one at a time. Note that potions of raw chaos will combine entire stacks into one single item. Artifacts cannot be transformed and no polymorph can turn an ordinary item into an artifact.
