Ivor Dean (21st December, 1917 - 10th August, 1974) played landlord Alfred Wormold on Coronation Street in July 1964 and January 1968. He also appeared in Street spin-off Pardon the Expression in the 1966 episode Between the Covers. Film roles include Where Eagles Dare and Dr Jekyll & Sister Hyde. His radio work was confined to the 1955 series Suspense.
