Moira is worried when she realises Holly's not in her room. At the pub, Moira is forced to admit to Nicola and Val what happened, and it's not long before mouthy Nicola makes it public knowledge. Later, John and Moira continue to argue about John's treatment of Holly, and Moira breaks down when they find a pawn shop receipt for the sale of an iPod. Meanwhile, Scarlett and Eve set about brainstorming business ideas, much to Carl and Jimmy's amusement. Later, Eve heads back to Pear Tree, eager to see Carl, and impresses him with some of her ideas. The sexual tension between them is palpable but the moment is interrupted by Chas. Elsewhere, Val warns Nicola she can't sack Moira because of Holly; Bob's impressed with Lizzie's ability to put the kids at ease when he has them over at Tall Trees
