With her father Gernot being an actor and her brother Alexander a director and folk actor, it is unsurprising that Solveig Duda would also act and direct. In movies, she dubbed over Rose McGowan in Scream and Angelina Jolie in Gia. In addition to a role in Wanwan Sanjushi (D'Artagnan and the Three Muskehounds) she was the voice of the android Roll in Mega Man before voicing Esmeraude in Sailor Moon in 1997. After Sailor Moon, she would play the lead (Mima Kirigoe) in the anime film Perfect Blue (2000) and Elena in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
