Al-Aernus is the soul of Aion, resulting from the union of Al-Aion and Fa-Aion, the original dual souls of Aion. As such, Al-Aernus is also the oversoul of the Sacred Twelve. According to Al-Antidian mythology, Al-Aernus stands alone at the second tier of the Divine Order, below Aion and above the Sacred Twelve. His origin is much neglected by many modern cults, but the theological reforms of the Aenean Church during the 16th century led to the revival of its worship.
