Thomas Albert 'Tom' King was a multi millionaire who came to Emmerdale with his four sons; Jimmy, Matthew, Carl and Max in the early months of 2004. Quickly establishing him and his family as ambitious yet cunning entrepreneurs, Tom gained many enemies whilst living in the village. On Christmas Day 2006 at his wedding reception he fell to his death from his bedroom window. He had been hit with an ornament and then pushed through the window by Carl.
