The Schoolboy was an under-16 who was thrown out of Phil Jennings's amusement arcade for being underage by manager Dean Lockwood in 1990. The young lad being given his marching orders was a rare moment of responsibility by Dean, which just happened to coincide with an inspection by Phil Jennings and councillor Deirdre Barlow. In the midst of a battle with the arcade over letting children in, Deirdre suspected that the incident was a setup for her benefit.
