The people of Nooyork come from the Nooyork River, which runs through the whole of the big island. Nooyorkers slowly migrated east and west of the river. Nooyork people are mostly peaceful, however they are a dangerous enemy when provoked. The Mountain People, who live high in the Emhalaye Mountain range, mostly on Ahvarest Mountain, are the most peaceful and spend much time meditating. They are like OTL's Buddhist monks.
