The Assault of Kure Atoll is a major battle in the Midwayan People's War. It was the first battle taht in the Midwayan People's War that ended in victory for the Midwayan People's Army since they captured New Atlantis (but subsequently lost the city). The battle began when the Midwayan People's Army began assaulting the beached of Kure Atoll after having waited for night while disguised as fisherman. They immediately met heavy resistance, however they broke through the first line of defense after they carried out a successful banzai charge. They then proceeded to attack the city.
