Livanos was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Holding the rank of Lieutenant, he served as an engineering officer aboard HMS War Maiden. After the death of Lieutenant Commander LaVacher, he took over the ship's engineering department. (HHA3.1: MMH)
