The City of the Rainland, also known as Stormport, is the capital, and most-populous city of the Rainland, as well as the 2nd most-populous city of that Earth, with a population of 65,000 people. It lies between Goodness Bay, and Storm Isle on the ruins of a nameless ancient city. According to the Rainlanders, the city was built by Eles (from Sefenlander: Eles, "Goddes Stone," and figuratively "God of Ruins," which came to be associated with the Southern Sage, who ruled Ruined Isle, and the name took on the meaning of "God of Lightning," as Landeles was one) the God-From-the-Lightning.
