Abigail Van Heuse is the current Minister of Public Interest for the Citizens' Council, the governing body for the Widdershins neighborhood of Kaer Maga. As such, she hears all matters which people demand be brought before the Council, and decides in what order they are to be heard. She is a close rival of the Chief Bursar, Tomkin Rassi, even though the two of them have been swapping their positions for years as the politics of that neighborhood have demanded. Lately she has grown tired of sharing the limelight with Rassi, and hopes to soon be able to engineer his political downfall.
