My Impossible Dream was the Dutch entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kiev performed by Glennis Grace. The song is a ballad, with Grace telling her lover that they are "driftin' far apart" and thus that their relationship is coming to an end. She explains, however, that she does not view this as a sad event, but rather an opportunity to follow her "impossible dream" and establish her own identity in the world.
