The Vulcan Ministry of State was an organization within the Vulcan government. This branch of the Vulcan Council had the overall responsibility of overseeing the government on Vulcan and for representing their people to the galactic community. Thus, all officials from diplomats to ambassadors reported to the Minister of State. This position also meant that the Minister was also responsible for operating the Vulcan School of Diplomacy.
