Clive Brunt (born 27th January 1972 in Oldbury, West Midlands) is a British actor who appeared on Coronation Street as DC Ashworth in August 2009. At the age of sixteen he attained a place at the National Youth Theatre and became a professional actor in 1993. His TV and film credits include roles in The Madness of King George, Crown Prosecutor, Bramwell, The Echo, Dunkirk, Pierrepoint, The Bill and Doctors.
