LEGO Classic Star Wars is the longest-running subtheme of LEGO Star Wars sets, with sets based on elements from the original trilogy of Star Wars films. Numerous sets based on A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi have been released each year since 1999. Some sets cross over to the LEGO Ultimate Collector's Series as well.
