Ancient Shog was the leader of the Thul, and one of the last remaining survivors of that race. He was driven both by his loyalty to his creators, the Il'Ri'Kamm Hive Mind, and later to their enemies, the Kamir, and his own personal quest to find a means to perpetuate his reproductively-challenged species. It is believed that Shog died when Daneel Olivaw reversed the Moebius Effect on Earth.
