While attending Tokyo Announce Institute in 2005, she was chosen as an assistant for Miki Tomokazu's Radio Big Bang, as an assistant, Satomi was in a unit called Kisty, however it eventually became dormant and resulting into a break. After that, Satomi made her voice acting debut in Kamichama Karin, and eventually was also casted as lead role in many animes, one anime being K-On!. She is currently affiliated with Aoni Productions.
