The Big Hearty Truffle is an item in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is rare valuable mushroom and a curative item that restore Link's health by refilling three Heart Containers. It is a Hearty Truffle that has grown big from going unpicked. Link can use it in Cooking to create "Hearty" food dishes. When cooked alone or with Hearty Truffles it produces a Hearty Mushroom Skewer. Link can also cook it with Hearty Lizard and Monster Parts to create Hearty Elixirs. Link can also roast it with fire or volcanic temperatures to create Toasted Big Hearty Truffle. Link can find them near trees in the Hebra Mountains region and Akkala province though they are rare. The traveling merchant Cambo sells Big Hearty Truffles for 60 Rupees when it rains.
