The Gavara system was a star system in the Gamma Quadrant. In 2372, Kira Nerys, Julian Bashir, and Jadzia Dax were on a trip to the Gavara system, which was interrupted by an emergency call from the Teplan system. (DS9: "The Quickening") According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 75), the Gavara system was a destination on the Gamma Quadrant Bio-Survey (2369-75). The system's primary was a G-class star.
