Although originally based off of the Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser design, the Renegade-class Star Cruiser is modified sufficiently to count as its own ship. The vessel contains two Dreadnaught hulls, a middle section for extra troops and fighters in between them, and a forward section with heavy-duty computers. Also, automation brings down the crew size to something near respectability. This is a heavy-duty warship, and as such is fairly expensive. A new version of the Renegade-class has also been developed, the Mark M.
