In 2375, he served on the Kelvas repair facility. In that year, several members of the Rebellion, Damar, Elim Garak, Rusot, Odo, and Kira Nerys boarded the station to steal a Breen energy weapon from a docked Jem'Hadar attack ship. Vornar recognized Damar, but granted him permission to enter the ship, wishing him good luck. Like many Cardassians, Vornar was disillusioned with Cardassia's membership of the Dominion and sympathetic to the Cardassian Rebellion. (DS9: "Tacking Into the Wind")
