The A-side was used as the theme song for the first Hamtaro movie "Hamhamland Daibouken." This is Minimoni's third-best-selling release with 325,440 copies sold overall, and a Oricon Weekly Chart position of 3. The single V peaked at #2 and sold 30,920 copies overall. "Minihamus no Ai no Uta" ranked as the #26 single for 2002.
