An unnamed Doctor treated Cain Dingle when he was attacked and left for dead in December 2011. The doctor informed Cain's family that Cain had sustained serious head trauma and would also need an operation to repair his injured leg. When painkiller addict Rhona Goskirk was hospitalised in August 2013 after coughing up blood, she neglected to tell the doctor her the real reason she had been coughing up blood. The doctor later noticed that there were high levels of paracetamol in Rhona's blood and questioned whether she had tried to overdose or had become dependent on the pills. He tried to offer Rhona help, but she told him to leave her.
