Mariana Stiles was an intelligence agent at CTU National Headquarters during Day 10. Mariana's cousin was Edgar Stiles, an analyst at CTU Los Angeles killed in action during a nerve gas attack on the facility. Mariana claimed to her co-worker Andy Shalowitz that he had taught her more than any of Andy's classes at Stanford. She attended Brooklyn College and, two weeks before Day 10, was hired at CTU's National Headquarters in Washington, D.C, replacing Bashir. She was hired by the incoming director Keith Mullins.
