The Second Insurrection was a four-year conflict beginning in 2583 between the UNSC and the infant Insurrectionist Confederacy. Its reach spanned a large portion of the Human Sphere, including much of the First and Second Rims along with a portion of the Core colonies. After nearly a decade of battle, the UNSC came out as the obvious victors as the rebellion had been crushed. The Second Insurrection is also tightly related to the Darcyc System Campaign, New Jerusalem Farmers' Rebellion, Miners' Rebellion, Kongo Wars, Berlin Uprising, and Tora Uprising.
