Richard Washington (May 5, 1660 — May 19, 1725) was the son of Augustine Warner and Mildred Reade. He was the soldier, older brother of Lawrence Washington and the great-uncle of U.S. President George Washington. Richard was a prominent landowner as well as a vestryman of Southward Parish in Surry County, Virginia.
