Lashmir was a location referenced in the Children of Tama language metaphorical phrases, "Uzani at Lashmir." In 2368, on the planet El-Adrel IV, before engaging the El-Adrel IV lifeform, Captain Dathon uttered this phrase to the Human Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Picard, in an attempt to understand Dathon's words, interpreted this phrase as a description of their situation and how it was similar to what happened at Lashmir. (TNG: "Darmok" ) This location was only mentioned in dialogue. According to the script , Lashmir was pronounced as "lahsh-MEER".
