The game is just like Yoshi's Story. The Yoshis doesn't have to carry any Babies on them. Baby Luigi can help them through levels and assist them at hard obstacles. The Yoshis have to find the Golden Berry in order to beat the level. The player cannot use Yoshi, the player has to use the other Yoshies. All of the Yoshies can use power-ups such as the Dash Pepper, Blimp Fruit, and the Bulb Berry. There are also other power-ups such as the Super Star.
