Marcia Warren (born 26th November 1943 in Watford) appeared on Coronation Street in July 2000 as Gladys Braithwaite, an old school friend of Audrey Roberts; and also appeared as Mrs Wiggins in the 2010 spin-off DVD A Knight's Tale. On stage, she has won two Olivier awards for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 1984’s Stepping Out and 2002’s Humble Boy. She also appeared in Arsenic and Old Lace with Thelma Barlow who she describes as a friend of over forty years standing. Her favourite medium is radio, for which she has recorded more than one hundred dramas.
