Baverstock received The Order of Australia in public recognition of his environmental and philanthropic achievements and has been appointed Adjunct Professor at Western Australia's Murdoch University. He was made a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects. Garry Baverstock has a lifetime passion for passive solar design and the use of solar energy.
