Star Wars: X-Wing—Rogue Squadron Special is a short comic book story that recounts the Battle of Tandankin. It was originally released in 1995 by Kellogg's as an Apple Jacks promotion. The comic was obtained through the mail, it was not included in Apple Jacks cereal boxes. It was republished by Dark Horse Comics in 1998 as an appendix to the Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron: Battleground: Tatooine (TPB) trade paperback, and in 2006 as part of the Star Wars Omnibus: X-Wing Rogue Squadron Volume 2 collection.
