Fabrizio Faniello is a singer and an ex-footballer from Malta. He participated in the 2001 and 2006 contests, and as Chiara was 2nd in 2005, this qualified Fabrizio to the Grand Final automatically. Fabrizio discovered his love for music at a very early age and his teacher advised he go on to do singing. However, he was more interested in football, which he done for a year in Turin, in 1997. His sister, Claudia, will represent Malta at the 2017 contest in Kiev
