Baradium nitrate was a form of baradium that, while in a liquid form, was less prone to accidental detonation. During the New Sith Wars, Sith Lord Daiman refined the nitrate in a factory on Darkknell. In 1032 BBY, Jedi Knight Kerra Holt stole some baradium nitrate from the factory, and later used it to destroy the Death Spiral, a massive siege tower, at the Battle of Gazzari.
