In 1991 the production of Star Trek: The Next Generation used this location for a one day location shooting on Tuesday 12 February 1991 for the fourth season episode "Qpid" . The 25-acre California Live Oak Forest with its towering 150-year old oaks stood in as Sherwood Forest. The call sheet for this day features the notes "Do not arrive before 6:00 a.m." and "Sunrise at 6:41 a.m. and Sunset at 5:34 p.m." Movieland Caterers provided 115 hot lunches at 12:00 noon.
