Petr Malex was a human male criminal who worked for the Black Sun. Though adopted, he kept his Malex surname. The politician Elderous Valorum often pretended to be Malex when dealing with the criminal underworld because the two looked very much alike. In return for using the criminal’s identity, Valorum protected Malex’s criminal interests in the Core Worlds. Malex never knew it, but he and Elderous Valorum were actually half-brothers, sharing the same mother.
