The Hachinosu class of guided missile destroyer, also known as the Drone Carrier class, is the predominant deployment platform for the Tonbo Drone in the East Asian Federation armed forces. The class is nearly identical to the Atago class guided missile destroyer, with its reduced armament consisting of two drone launchers and several SAM batteries. The Hachinosu class' design is a variant of the Allied States' Arleigh Burke-class destroyer. The ships of the class are built in a joint partnership between Hyasoda Military Industries and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
